Still Rising, Even When It’s Hard

I have wrestled with how to show up authentically on social media. I don't even like social media because I am a relational person, and I'm from the generation that talks on the phone and shows up at someone's house. How do you show up with that type of intentionality over social media? Still pondering this question.
The world moves fast, and most of what we see is highlight reels. The parts that look beautiful. The moments that feel put together.
What we do not see are the storms people have walked through to get there.
We rarely witness the days when simply rising again, with little left to give, is one of the most courageous acts of redemption a person can offer.
There is room for beauty, joy, and well-curated moments. I love showing up with fun images, styled hair, and meaningful spaces. But I am also a real human. I have been stretched, challenged, failed, and deeply humbled.
So, in an effort to show you all of me, not just the manicured version with hair and makeup, I want to share more of my story. Because as I begin to share my story, it creates safety for you to share yours. I want you to know that the same person you see in seasons where it looks like I am conquering life is the very same person who has walked through fire, failed deeply, felt hopeless and helpless at times, and still continues to rise.
I believe I am not alone in this. As you kept picking up your sword, building and designing, that being unseen has also been a part of your story.
There are women building ministries and businesses who have carried real loss, real disappointment, and genuine fear.
So here is my yes to being real.
Authentic.
Fully human.
And deeply in love with Jesus, the One who perfects our lives.
You are allowed to have hard days while you build.
You are allowed to have moments where rising means doing just enough. And you are also allowed to show up graced, with well-styled hair, makeup, and clothing.
This is your permission to be fully real in 2026, while allowing Jesus to be the One who carries you in all the good, holy, and meaningful work you are stepping into.
You are also allowed to have a story that has brought you to your knees, humbled you, and equipped you with a mightier sword.

And your story, no matter what it is, does not get to define you or your future as a woman. The Lord needs you to keep rising, equipping, building, and leading.
