The Future You Want Requires a Healed You

When you look back, I hope it is from a place of healing and restoration and not from bitterness or offense. We can only restore, heal, and empower others from a healed position. Looking back through pain will always distort what we are building next.

The Lord meets you in the middle of that pain. He sees every tear. He is not intimidated by your disappointment or your questions. But there is more for you in this season. The world is hurting, and it needs leaders whose souls are whole.

If you are in a season of healing and wondering what the Lord has next for your church, business, or ministry, hear this clearly. There is more. More influence. More depth. More impact. But He is not interested in expanding what is still internally fractured. He wants you to carry the next level with a restored soul and a regulated body. He wants you stepping forward with clarity, confidence, and aligned support.

When I look back over past seasons, one lesson remains steady. The wrong supports will drain and destabilize you. The right ones will strengthen and steady you.

Be cautious of voices that subtly draw you toward dependence on them rather than deeper dependence on the Lord. True support does not compete with Christ. It reflects humility. It stays rooted in the vine. It embraces pruning. It produces the fruit of the Spirit over time.

You were never meant to lead alone. You need people who anchor you to Jesus, not to themselves. People who can hold your humanity without diminishing your calling. People who refine you without shaming you. People who see the gold in you and are not threatened by your expansion.

Let the Lord remove the voices that create division and whisper behind your back. Let Him expose what is unstable. And trust Him to bring in those who strengthen your foundation and expand your capacity.

On the other side of what you thought you were building, there is something far greater than you imagined. But it will require a healed leader to steward it well.

If this speaks to where you are, I invite you to stay connected. At Sword & Grace we walk through healing, alignment, and leadership maturity together.
